Here are the ranking crosstable after the fourth round of the Kuala Lumpur Chess Open 2010 played this afternoon, 16:00 hours, 8th April 2010 at the 2nd Floor, Olympic Sports Hotel, Jalan Hang Jebat, Kuala Lumpur.

The two co-leaders of the tournament are GM Hou Yifan, CHN and GM Nguyen Anh Dung, VIE, both with 4 points from four rounds of play. Our top seed, GM Mchedishvili, GEO, is currently in fourth place with 3.5 points, after drawing his third round game against Nguyen Van Huy, VIE. Malaysia’s highest placed player so far is FM Nicholas Chan with 3 points, followed by Ronnie Lim with 2.5 points and Yeoh Li Tian with 2.5 points, Timothy Capel and IM Jimmy Liew with 2.0 points. Other Malaysians with 2.0 points include Marcus Yeoh, Ismail Ahmad, and Abdul Haq Mohamed. Najib Wahab still has not gain any points after four rounds, even little Amier Hamzah managed a draw in his fourth round of play.
